In 1933, the now famous physicist Erwin Schrödinger received the Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking contributions to quantum mechanics. His exploration of the fundamental nature of reality led him to a profound philosophical insight:

‘There is only one mind.’

Schrödinger suggested that consciousness is experienced only in the singular. He said, ‘Not only have none of us ever experienced more than one consciousness, but there is also no trace of even circumstantial evidence of more than one consciousness happening anywhere in the world.’

If this is true, then the search for God, for freedom, for enlightenment, even every attempt we make to find joy, peace, and fulfilment, might be seen as this One Mind searching for itself.
