Let me ask you something.

Can you draw a line anywhere in your experience, defining the point where your consciousness begins or ends, either in time or in space?

If you look inward, into yourself, you experience consciousness. If you look outward, into the world, you still experience only consciousness.

Despite all the meaning you’ve assigned to the things and events appearing within it… it is still only consciousness.

Consciousness was here in every moment before this one, and consciousness will be here in every moment that follows.

There is simply no point you could find, and no line you could draw, where consciousness begins or ends. Not within you. And not within the world you are experiencing right now.

In truth, then, you are timeless, existing in a pure, eternal now. And you have never been anything else… or anywhere else.

Your existence has never been defined by time, nor has it ever occupied a fixed position in space. And despite the body’s sensory perceptions shouting otherwise, these truths about you are worth sitting with.

As you can see, it takes only a small but honest investigation to unravel any limits you’ve placed on yourself, or any judgement you’ve had about yourself, revealing what is, in fact, profoundly and eternally true about you.

This is the ground of being, the baseline above which everything about you that you’ve built is a story. Endlessly rich, infinite in their variety, but never the whole truth.

Life is the gift you’ve given to yourself, an eternal play in the infinite ocean of conscious awareness.
